A few things worth knowing
What is an AI token?
Tokens are the small pieces of text AI reads and writes while answering questions and completing tasks. Your allowance covers both input and response tokens. A short question usually uses fewer tokens than a long conversation or a task with lots of context.
What can I do on Free?
Free includes a one-time grant of 1M AI tokens for one-off questions about your data, plus 3,000 emails each month. The AI grant does not renew monthly. Free has no active AI quests or tasks; upgrade to run ongoing AI work or use more tokens.
How do active quests and tasks work?
Your plan limits how many quests and tasks you can have enabled. Task limits apply across the whole workspace, including tasks inside quests. AI usage from that work still counts toward your token allowance. Unlimited quests or tasks does not mean unlimited AI tokens.
How does monthly pricing work?
Your total is your platform subscription, plus any email or AI usage above the included allowances and any optional managed data fee. Paid AI allowances renew each billing month. Other messaging providers, cloud usage and applicable taxes are separate.
Do I need managed data?
If you already have a warehouse, connect it to Sortment without a managed data add-on. If you want Sortment to provision and operate a warehouse, choose any managed data package alongside any platform plan. The management fee covers the service; cloud storage, processing and other provider usage are additional.
Does managed data change my platform limits?
No. Managed data packages set the capacity of the warehouse we manage: profiles in the primary customer table and the number of tables. Your platform plan still determines included AI tokens, emails, active quests and active tasks. Unlimited tables does not include unlimited storage or processing.
