We're building the marketing harness for lifecycle teams
Sortment gives a small lifecycle team the output of a large one. You set the goal and approve the work; AI agents do the rest.
Why we started Sortment
Most lifecycle teams know what they should be doing. They're short on the hours to do it.
Every campaign means pulling data, waiting on a data team, writing copy, building templates, checking links and segments, then working out afterwards whether any of it moved the number. The work that matters most — spotting the drop-off, testing the better message, following up on what worked — is the work that gets squeezed out.
We started Sortment to change the ratio. The repetitive parts of lifecycle marketing should run on their own. The judgment should stay with you.
What Sortment is
Sortment is a marketing harness: one platform where AI agents do the lifecycle work across every channel.
- They find the opportunity. Agents read your warehouse directly and surface the segments and drop-offs worth acting on.
- They build the work. Audiences, journeys, campaigns and on-brand templates, drafted from a brief.
- They check it. Links, tracking, brand voice, frequency caps and opt-ins are checked before anything is sent.
- They measure it. Every program is tracked against a baseline, and the results feed the next recommendation.
You stay in charge. Nothing goes live until your team approves it.
How we work
Your data stays where it is
Sortment connects directly to Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks, ClickHouse, Trino, Postgres and Azure. There are no copies to keep in sync and no tickets to wait on.
Works with your stack
Run Sortment alongside the tools you already use, or replace your CEP entirely. Email, push, in-app, SMS, WhatsApp, RCS and webhooks all run from one place.
Proof over promises
We measure every program against a control, so you can see exactly what Sortment changed.
Who we work with
Lifecycle teams at Mercury, BryteBridge Group, Topdog, Soundverse, NxtWave, Koparo, Shopflo, Rovia and Kinetic Age use Sortment to ship more programs with fewer people.
The team
Sortment was founded by Priy Ranjan (Co-founder and CEO), Ishan Rakshit (Co-founder and COO) and Ankit Bansal (Co-founder and CTO). We've spent years building and running customer engagement for high-growth consumer businesses, and we're building the tool we always wanted.
